Have any of you got a discolouration across your new knee ?
I have been using bio oil and E45 cream but I still have a brown mark across my knee, which wouldn't bother me but I have lily white legs.
No . . my scar is still a bit purple, but apart from that normal colour. In fact, I never had any bruising show . . . just swelling!
Oops need to put fake tan on your white legs or better still get a real one! No haven't had that with mine. Will be interested to see if it is common. Could it still be bruising that will fade?
My scar is purple and wide after 18 weeks snd I do have bruising on the knee still!

Mine seems to come and go though, no two days are the same. It never looks like a normal knee though. I compared my scar to a man who had his op in January and his scar is thin whereas mine is wide.
I have the purple scar and bruising after 9 wks. Still a lot going on in there especially after exercise. I expect that will take time. My knee scar from 25 years ago was still fairly prominent especially after shower. The new incision was right over that so I don't have stripes!
Mine is very thin, but there's a bumpy bit at one end! Almosty completely invisible now (twelve weeks) except for that bumpy bit which is still a bit purple. . . .
Fab I have a bumpy bit at the bottom of my scar as well :-)
