Hi I had a baby 11 days ago I was fine then had some scares after I was put on co-amoxiclav for suspected infection Sunday on Monday night I started getting dizzy spells and feeling I would pass out yesterday wasn't as bad until I took the fourth tablet and ever since I'm so dizzy it can hardly walk I'm went for my check up at hospital doctors said it isn't the tablets and now I'm sat here feeling like I'm spinning and been given metronidazole too so that will be 9 tablets a day ! They don't even know if I have a infection yet so won't these tablets just be killing me if nothing is wrong ? I keep getting a adrenaline kinda feeling too so I know I'm anxious but it's the dizziness causing it I've never felt like this it's asif I'm drunk
I am worried that the doctors have given you very strong antibiotics and causing this dizziness and related symptoms. Why did they suspect an infection?

Dam, i would stop that med, it seems its the cause of your dizzy spells.
Ask for a different brand, you may be allergic.
PLEASE what ever you do, no matter what md's tell you, DO NOT
nurse your baby while taking any, any, any, medication
