DLA and Me

Hi folks not been around for a while I have had a really bad time of it lately with fibro and a virus so been really ill. I am now taking a concoction of different tabs and feel really groggy most of the time (tramadol, nortryptaline, citalopram, co codamol, lanzoprazol and sleeping tabs when I need them which I try not to take but I get very little sleep). Anyway back to the reason I am writing I applied for DLA and was turned down, I phoned them and asked them to reconsider and told them a little about my probs and asked why they didn't ask my doc for report. They wrote to my doc and yesterday I got a letter telling me I have been awarded High rate mobility and low rate care so to all others who have to apply for this DON'T GIVE UP we suffer everyday and they need to start understanding this.

Sorry for the long post but I have'nt been on for such a long time it has just all come flooding out. Hands and arms are killing now.

Lv Nix

Hi there Nix

I'm so sorry that you have been so poorly ... you really are having a rough time of it.

So pleased the DLA have finally seen sense.

Do hope you start to feel better soon - maybe this is a good omen for you.

Take care
