Firstly, I’d like to say I don’t have any pain head. I’m not sure what could be wrong. However, there is a “pressure”, heavy like feeling. My constant symtpoms with this pressure-like feeling are blurry vision, and ear ringing. I also feel groggy/cloudy. Everything seems to feel like it’s moving slower. I also get bouts of dizziness if I exert myself too much.
I went to the ER last night because I’ve had symptoms for about two weeks. They did blood tests, and found nothing. They checked other things like virtigo, etc. nothing. They didn’t run any CT scans or anything though. They suggested I might have a concussion, but I haven’t fallen or anything. All that they could tell me is that my stress and depression could be causing me these symptoms (I’m in grad school and stressed like crazy). They gave me a Valium, which lessened the symtpoms, but didn’t absolve them. However, after sleeping for 12 hours my symtpoms are full back. And all I have is a therapy and psychiatrist appointment.
Hi lmjustinjk
could be a number of things I suffer from migraines with pain there is also different types of migraine and I’m sure someone else could come along and advise on them also but it sounds like you have been checked for the obvious but it could be meniere disease which affects balance but no head ache or pain blood pressure I assume is ok .stress and anxiety can cause unpleasant symptoms if still having them go and see your GP again to be on the safe side and explain what happened when you went to ER

Hi, my son has similar symptoms and he has been told it is OPTICAL MIGRAINE. Sadly there is nothing that can be taken - he just has to wait for the condition to pass. The other week he was driving when an attack came on so he had to find a suitable stopping place and sit it out. Just an idea that this could be your condition - look it up on the internet.
Good Luck
Jean
Thanks! I’ll look into it. My doctor scheduled me a CT scan for Monday just in case. I just feel “drunk” almost because everything is so off.
