Hi , first of all, the worst thing you can do is look up symptoms. The odds are that none of them pertain to you even though your symptoms can appear in different conditions. For example, a common symptom of anxiety is shortness of breath and sometimes even chest pain. So if a person googles chest pain and shortness of breath, it can show heart attack. But that doesn't mean that person is going to have a heart attack if the symptom is caused by anxiety. So when you look things up online, you're just scaring yourself needlessly. Then when you become more anxious, you get more symptoms.
looks like you've been checked out by your Doctor Who is not concerned. Just so you know, anxiety can cause hundreds of different symptoms including aches and pains, sore muscles which I have had also, sometimes even a viral infection such as a cold or flu can cause the lymph nodes under the arms, neck and groin area to enlarge a little bit which is perfectly harmless when caused by a benign virus .
I encourage all women to do a self breast check every month between periods, whether they are having pains or not. Women should know the difference between feeling fibrous tissue which is movable and harmless and feeling a smooth hard round lump which you would tell your doctor about.
But for your peace of mind, pain is caused by many many different reasons most of which are harmless. Just have your regular check ups at the doctors and if the doctor tells you everything is fine then you need to start working on managing the anxiety. Anxiety can really do a number in our heads! Anxiety causes are thinking to go straight to the negative and worst-case scenerio!
Believe me, I've been battling negative thinking since first grade. I finally learned after all these years how to control it and not let it ruin my life. I would worry about literally everything! When I was younger, worried my parents would die, then I had kids and worried about something happening to them, worried about diseases, and on and on. I literally wasted years of my life worrying and nothing bad ever happened. You are young and most likely very healthy it's just that you have let fear take you over . All the what if thinking is not based on reality, it's things you have made up in your mind that is not based on fact but random thoughts in your head that are negative and eating away at you. Yes you are having these symptoms but the odds are way in your favor especially at your age, that everything is just fine. I have had all those symptoms and I am doing well.
if you would ever like to learn how to separate the negative thoughts from yourself, there are a couple things you can do…
first, there are excellent audio meditations on YouTube that deal specifically with anxiety and negative thinking. They teach you how to separate negativity from yourself. You can just do a search and I like to use earbuds and lie down. There are many to choose from.
if you can get a hold of a book called mindfulness, it also teaches you how to think in a way, that eliminates the negativity in the mind and reducing anxiety. It's definitely a great read.
I would also suggest stay active and do things you enjoy. Don't sit around and think and think and look up symptoms it will only make you feel worse.
my symptoms have been reduced by 98% by keeping my mind focused on other things, doing things for other people, exercising, doing the meditations a couple times a day, staying off googling symptoms , Reading and learning from the book, Remembering to laugh and smile.
if you're having a really hard time, speaking with a counselor who specializes in anxiety can really be helpful! It helped me a lot and this is something that can be hard to overcome on our own
. Don't give into fear because FEAR stands for false evidence appearing real which means when we have symptoms we think they are evidence of a terrible disease when in reality the odds are that they are not. Fear will eat away at you and make your life miserable so you must be a fighter for yourself!
