Do I have herpes?

I don’t know how to post pictures or I would but I had sex on Sunday and then sex with another guy on Wednesday. They both just accidentally happened because it was in the moment. We didn’t use protection either time and on Thursday I started seeing symptoms. It hurt to pee because I had these lesions on my perimeum and everyday more appear. It hurts to pee and it I do squats or anything I feel like they’re opening up and they looked infected. They are small round cuts that have a yellow certain, as if it were infected, and now there are white patches entering my vagina. I never noticed and puss filled bumps or any bumps in general. I never saw anything before Thursday because I went to pee and it burned. Then I looked and there were small circles that looked yellow. I went to the doctor to get tested today for the top 3 stds and herpes. If I do have herpes, how do I tell this new guy I had unprotected she with? I really like him and we have so much in common. I don’t know how to tell him what happened.

It would be unusual to have symptoms for herpes within six days of being infected, so it's unlikely to be herpes.  You'll know soon enough though.  In the unlikely event you do have herpes (or another STI), there is no easy way to tell the new guy, but you do have to tell him, and you have to tell the other guy too.  The STI clinic would give you advice, and depending on the country, may even contact people for you.

Whether you get the all clear or not, please don't have unprotected sex unless it's with a regular partner, who you know has been tested and isn't sleeping around.

Good luck!

You need to be on a PC or laptop with a large window to add pictures.  If you are, then you should see some extra icons towards the top right of where you type, and the right hand icon (which I think is supposed to look like the sun over hills) will add images.

The pic I've attached here shows the icons:

Hi what do you mean symptoms wouldn’t show up that soon? Symptoms usually show up within 2 weeks so that means any time from the time of infection up to 2 weeks. Some people show symptoms sooner and some later. There are people who have outbreaks even 2 days later. Everyone is different

Looks like you're right.  I'd read in a couple of places that herpes symptoms typically take 1-2 weeks (and some places say longer than that), but I just read that the CDC says this: "The average incubation period for an initial herpes infection is 4 days (range, 2 to 12) after exposure."

Everyone's different (and a lot of people don't have symptoms at all), but from what I can tell, sores within 4 days would be early, but not especially unusual as I thought.

I got my results back and I do have HSV-2. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do??? I’m am always in pain, I can’t pee without going into my bath tub and running water over my vagina, new blisters are forming and it doesn’t look like they’re healing at all. I’ve started acyclovir and I think it’s day three on those. I’ve tried witch hazel and it does help but the pad got stuck to one of my sores so I had to rip it off (worst pain in my life!!!!). Is there anything I can do to speed up the healing process or make peeing easier? I don’t know what I’m going to do if I have to pee out in public, try to take a water bottle with me, I don’t know. Please please please give me all the advice you have! I have a lot of yellow liquid discharge and I think it makes the sores worse and it’s making them not heal. Any thoughts on that?
