I have vertical red lines on my nail, they are not flat.

I'm worried about bad diseases like hiv.

I wouldn’t worry too much, this is very common, I’m the same myself. It sometimes can mean disease, but it can also happen with the nails aging, a lot to do with the diet as well.

Thanks for your response, I know many many people have vertical lines on nail, but my lines are a little red.

I dont think there is anything wrong with your nails,they look quite healthy.  I wonder if you pick at or cut your cuticles? That may be a cause, But it may also be just normal for you.   If you had HIV you would have other symptoms that you would notice.
