When i'm in the park i get tunnel vision and when i'm in a shopping centre i get afeeling of being in a goldfish bowl yet if i'm on an open beach i feel fine.
Hi Martin,
I just had to respond to your posting because in a way I feel the same. When I go to Walmart or Target I run out of air real fast and I feel pressure on my eyes with light headed and just yesterday I went to a water park and even if I did feel some anxiety because I had light headed since I woke up the day was so much easier to handle and my xanax (0.5mg did cover for me the whole day making it a much better day and even my light headed was much better and basically I did not noticed a had any. Another thing I noticed that normally it takes xanax 60 minutes to make me feel 60-70% better it only took 15 minutes at the water park. YES, I did start to drink Kifer and eat some pumpkin seeds but today it did not help me so I have to asume it was the distraction/fun or maybe even the sun and warm weather that made me feel better. btw, even if Walmart and Target are empty I get the same feeling.
Hi I take 45mg of miterzapine and have been taking it for 6 months but still get anxiety issues and visual disturbances. Ie dizzyness tunnel vision or goldfish bowl like vision.
Yes, normally miterzapine is used for antidepresion. Why don't you ask for another medication?
i often get visual problems, a lot of eye floaters for me if im in a place i would rather not be in, eyes sensative to light, blurry etc - my eyes are sound, but anx does terrible things to us
I feel your main problem is a feeling of containment. If there is a boundary to your view, ie; walls, trees etc, then you feel 'contained or confined'. I think the best way to resolve this problem, may be to think beyond the walls or trees and imagine what's on the other side of what is containing or confining you. Let me know if this works.
Can you look at the reply I sent to Martin and let me know what you think. thanks
