i am into my 2nd month of taking Amitriptyline and i havent had a period and im used to being quite regular ?
should i see my GP ?
hi ive just joined today, ive been on 10mg of amitriptylline for nearly a month & im 35 days late for a period! im very stressed about it , did you go to gp ?

hiya she did all bloods & all were normal, didn’t really say it could be tablets, anyway finally got period 45 days late! due on in a week so will see if I get it or not, I was worried it was something bad xx
Hiya , so i decided to go cold turkey after being on it for 3 mths ! guess what my period came as normal so im suspecting that it affects some peoples hormones ! however i havent slept in 3 weeks for more than 3-4hrs a night so im off to the doctors today to see if there is an alternative ! i would rather sleep than have a period xx
Que alívio saber que não sou só eu e que todos podem se relacionar! Não há como eu estar grávida, de jeito nenhum! E eu estou tomando amitriptilina e não tive um único período há 5 meses agora! Estou ficando realmente preocupada… Estou tomando 75mg todas as noites porque sofro de fibromialgia. Também tomo outros remédios, mas parece que tudo começou desde que comecei a tomar a amitriptilina, porque já tomo os outros remédios há muito, muito tempo… É melhor eu ver meu médico de família?
Está realmente ajudando no controle da dor, pois já tentei tantos outros analgésicos antes, e esses são, de longe, os melhores para alívio da dor da fibromialgia. Mas não gosto do fato de não estar tendo meu período há tanto tempo.
