Was it the patches and /or Actiq you were on? How did you do it and how long did it take and what were the withdrawal like please?

I was on the Fent patch for 4 years . It took about 2 months to come off but it was hell but I am glad to be done . I wanted to die it was hard but glad to do it .

I've to get off the Actiq first then the patch so its a double whammy.

i was on 100 every 48 hours and I went down to 75 then 50 then 25 I nly did 3 25 and I was so sick with the Fent flu I really thought I was going to die but I did it in 2 months . I feel better but I am still on the pain pills but my head is way clearer off the Fent and hot flashes are gone . I wish you the best of luck . Let m know if I can help you . Deb,

Well done Deb you must be so pleased it's the worst I've ever felt I've come down from 100 to 75 but it is all over the place how long the patch last sometimes 48 hr this time as we talk it's only been24 and already really anxious and cold sweats I'm trying to keep busy but very hard.not sure if the long road is achievable but well done you. Never again,if I can get rid of this horrid drug. How do some people just stop is beyond me. Thanks for listening and all the best to you and your family in the future. Dave.
