I get this dry cough, sometimes, I keep cough drops everywhere, there is no mucus, if I am talking it will happen, or if I am reclining. Is this a symptom of bronchi that others get? It is anoying and embaressing.
Persistent cough is never a fun situation. Did you try natural remedies? A spoonful of organic honey with turmeric is an excellent, old-age remedy for nasty cough. Try it and see your GP, if not getting a relief. A chronic dry cough can also be a sign of asthma.
I am allergic to tumeric, wish I was not because it is an excellent anti inflamatory. I can try local natural hoey though, I use a lot of cough drops.....
have you tried mucolytics? they are medications that cause you to make more mucous, so instead of a dry cough you actually have a moist cough
& it seems with a more moist lung situation you actually cough less.
Mucodyne is one of these, they are written up right at this site, in the topic
*mucolytics*
Thanks for the info, I will check it out.....think you are right about the moisture in the throat.
