I have genital HSV 1 and unfortunately just got an outbreak starting last night. I have a big camping party this weekend thats an all weekend event. i've spent hundreds of dollars on this and its non refundable so fuck me right? long story short i have no intention of staying sober for this and wanted some advice on if anyone else has drank with acyclovir? im not planning on getting black out drunk but definently more than 2 drinks. ive already read the possible side effects im more interested in personal experience if anyone here has had major issues? or if i should screw the acyclovir and just suffer the outbreak during the party?
you should be fine! just keep hydrated before you drink
