HI has anyone had electric shock treatment, as last resort and it worked, is it on aday case as well,thankyou, going to phycatrist tomorrow not sure if there is anything left pill wise for me to take

Have you tried any of the old antidepressants called tricyclics. I am trying nortriptyline it’s to early to tell was on 3 weeks on Saturday

HI I have tried amitripaline, which is sort of the same, for years but gave me rapid heart beats, and sweating, are you getting any of that

No just my pulse has increased and constipation. I still have bad anxiety unless I take a Klonopin. Have you tried Paxil I will try that if this doesn’t work. Zoloft worked for 23 years then pooped out. Tried Prozac, Lexapro and venlafaxine

Wow please tell me all about the electric shock treatment. It sounds very archaic.

It is and as far as I know they don't do it anymore. Years ago when I was in hospital some people had it I asked the nurse about it she she said the eletros put on your head gave you a convulsion and apparently that brought you out of the depression they had to have quite a few the people that were having it.this is only what the nurse told me.

OMG that is like an Alfred Hitchcock movie. I’d try it! Acupuncture works great for headaches anxiety and pain. I go for my Zen time! 😇
