Endocrinologia priorizada como urgente

Hi everyone

I was with my doctor 12 days ago and she said she would refer me to an Endocrinologist and for an MRI scan..

Not that I am complaining but my letter came this morning with an appoint for the Endocrinologist and my case has been  prioritised as URGENT and I am to ring in the next five days..

Is this normal procedure??

My  continous nausea had turned to vomiting..

Plus my mood is all over the place..

Have you got any lumps in your throat

I have always had a small lump under my neck but not my throat..

When you went to see your GP what did he say

Dont forget that it might also be that the Endo wants to clear his/her work load so that s/he can get away early for Chrissy!

I can't give you ant advice on your situation... just wanted to say that I hope everything turns out good and I am sending prayers your way.  Try to not waste your energy worring, as it may be nothing.  Good luck!

Sorry, no idea whether it's normal as different at areas have different ways of doing things. My guess is that they want to ensure they offer you an appointment they are sure you can make, hence the request to ring them.

Thanks everyone I have my appointment on the 30th December..So not long to wait..Hope they find out why I have had so many ailmnents over a year now
