Looking for help if anyone has any please.
I've recently been put into the support group after a long long 2 year wait with mistakes from DWP. I had my home assessment 5 weeks ago.
I never knew until someone mentioned today that I may be eligible for PIP too. Is this correct and will my initial medical be used for that. Dwp are sending me a form today

Ce n'est pas si simple ou direct. Le PIP est considéré comme une forme différente de prestation et n'est en aucun cas lié aux autres prestations de la DWP. Vous devez commencer une demande de PIP par téléphone et ils décideront ensuite si vous répondez à leurs critères et, le cas échéant, enverront un formulaire/des formulaires à lire très attentivement, sans précipitation, demandez de l'aide à un conseiller si nécessaire. Plusieurs personnes sur ce site ont apparemment été contactées par la DWP pour leur demander des informations sur d'autres prestations de la DWP que vous pourriez toucher, mais officiellement pour le moment, le PIP est une prestation complètement séparée. Vous devez toutefois vous renseigner à ce sujet, car vous pourriez y avoir droit, bonne chance.

vous devrez avoir une évaluation différente pour Pip, à moins qu'ils ne décident que vous n'en avez pas besoin.
Mon raisonnement est que si vous n'essayez pas, vous ne saurez jamais, surtout si vous ne réclamez pas la DLA. Dans ce cas, vous n'auriez rien à perdre à réclamer le PIP et peut-être quelque chose à gagner.

It's strange as Dwp are the people sending the form out to me today
Good luck with your PIP claim, however try not to get your hopes up too much as the DWP are trying to cut down the number of people claiming it. I have also heard of lots of people who are in the ESA support group who were turned down for PIP. It can be a lengthy and stressful process too!
Oh really well I suppose it's worth a try but if it's going to be stressful I think I'll let it go!!!

You have started the process already by phoning so wait until you get the form. You will have 4 weeks from the send date to return it to them. There is no harm in trying - just don't expect it to be easy and straightforward. Good luck.
It took two years for my esa to be sorted through mistakes by dwp so I'll probably be used to it lol!!

if you go to the benefits and work website - they have a pip test you can take to see if you qualify for it or not - it is a really useful too. Just google 'benefits and work' (cannot post links on here) - click on PIP and then Take the PIP test xxx
it will only take you a few minutes to complete (multiple choice questions - and you get a result straight away!

I know you scored 0 for PIP Les after being on other benefits for years. That is why I told Lisa not to get her hopes up as so many people don't receive a penny!

I think it the heat as well - hate it and I have felt tired and grumpy all day too. Les, I really feel for you as I have been following your posts - it must be so frustrating for you but I admire your determination and strength to keep going. People at your age, and with dsabilities especially, should be able to live a decent and supported life but the Government has turned it's back on people like you

Tout ce que j'ai pour le moment, ce sont des périodes courtes et imprévisibles où je me sens juste besoin de faire quelque chose pour riposter au système.
Certaines pensées, si je les mettais en œuvre, me verraient passer le reste de ma vie derrière les barreaux !! D'autres, eh bien, si je peux juste les énerver (DWP) pendant quelques heures et les agacer, cela me semblerait une grande bataille gagnée.
Tout ce qu'il me reste, c'est la capacité à les taquiner, ce qui me procure une grande satisfaction.
Je ne veux même pas penser au montant d'argent qu'ils ne m'ont pas payé au cours des 20 dernières années, qu'ils reconnaissent effectivement être mon dû, mais le « système ne le permettrait pas ».
Vous n'avez aucune idée du nombre de portes qui m'ont été claquées au nez par le DWP.
Et alors que j'osais défier le système et les lacunes du DWP, ils ont rendu ma vie misérable avec tant de révisions, d'évaluations en face à face et d'appels au cours des 20 dernières années (DLA, ESA, IIDB). Ils ont utilisé chaque règlement qu'ils pouvaient trouver pour soit me faire taire, soit me fermer.
Je me souviens d'une dame d'AgeUK me disant qu'en regardant mon historique avec le DWP en 2011, il lui semblait que j'avais sérieusement énervé quelqu'un au DWP.
