Even out walking boot

I'm in my seventh week post op in a walking boot. I had ankle fused in 2 spots and a big toe plate for fusion there too, and a tendon pulled up. Any suggestions for evening out the height between the high walking boot and the tennis shoes? I have an arch support in both my walking shoes and my tennis shoes. I am using crutches with trying to bear some weight on the surgery foot. Has anyone worn 2 walking boots to even out the high and low? Has anyone worn a heel on the non walking boot foot. I have an implant in my nonsurgical big toe, (from 8 years ago) so a heel would hurt that implant. Thanks for any suggestions.

Yvonne, look up evenup on Amazon. I used this on my sneaker inorder too walk evenly with my boot. Kept me from having back issues.

patti who is on here a lot bought an 'even up'.. make shoes and boot even and easier to walk.

I wish I would 've known about it before I was out of the boot.. Good luck to you and stay positive..It takes a while but it does get better.
