Hi Barry, CT and MRI are very expensive, see how much your Insr will cover, If you only have to do this once. It may be worth the expense just to find out what really is causing the dizziness.

I'm glad for you Antonio!!! 😀
Any time you feel the dizziness coming back, do the exercises!
Cheers!
Debbie
I've had the exact same thing going on for 6 weeks straight. Lightheaded, unbalanced, can't focus right. I'm at my wits and getting frustrated. Had a CT scan, normal. Bloodwork is normal, did a hearing test and balance test. Waiting to hear back on Tuesday coming up. No medicine has worked so far. What did doctors do to you as to explain what's going on and are you still the same? Would love to hear some input from you
I have been given a ear spray a ear oil and a nose spray and tbh it seems to had worked for me now I'm a lot on my feet my first time out I was becoming agoraphobia and I went out today with my son had a meal and I drove I was perfect I have a ENT booked for aug 17 so hopefully the doctors as finally given me the right meds as they was giving me a spray for both ears which never both had infection one had infection other ear had lot of wax so they have given me separate sprays and oils for my ears so it seems to had sorted it but it's early days so hopefully it's the start of a new beginning I hope you have a great result
Unasked,
Were you sick weak and vomiting too? If not it may be a vestibular problem.
Tro
I was very weak but never sick just felt it but wasn't
I wasn't sick or vomiting. Very few times felt nautious. I think it has gotten to the point where last sunday, monday, tueday, and Wednesday night I only had 2 hours sleep most all 4 nights. Took a unison Thursday and Friday night and it helped me go to sleep. Don't know if it's related tho. I just don't wanna go through all these test and find out that there no diagnoses yet. Don't know what to do
I had a lot of trouble with being dizzy and short of breath. Everything came back negative. I got physical therapy for vestibular neuritis. Even though I presented atypically, I think it helped me. I saw an "otologist," a neurologist and ENT.
Good luck!
It should pass I had mine literally 6 months and it was every day I couldn't drive go in shops yes it was setting me to have anxiety but now I have the right medication for this it's totally helped me a lot today was my first day out with my family for ages and it felt great still having my ENT appointment cause it mite just be the meds helping it's not even tablets it's oil spray and nose spray so it's working all three ways hope you get the answers you need and good luck 😉
Im happy that you are feeling better. This is the worse feeling in the world. What kind of oil spray and nose spray are you using and did the ENT recommend this to you?

I have my ent next week I hope they tell me what's going on Ct did that normal so I have no idea what's going on ent should be on point let's see good luck let us all know what they tell ya
What are your symptoms and what happens to you Carla x
I have had this for years. My doctor figured it is symtoms of pre menopause. I felt so dizzy that I was worried I would have to give up driving. He put me on clonidine. It manages my dizziness most days. I might have a bad day 10 timesa year. I take an extra pill and in about half hour am ok again. Hope you get this under control, it is very overwelming and sometimes difficult for others to understand. good luck!
Hi Michele do you still check this forum?
I do but haven't been on here in awhile. Whats up
Hi. Sorry about what you have experienced. This is not a very good feeling. I actually have similar symptoms and am currently on medication. I have negative pressure in my left ear and this is the cause of the feeling.
Hey. Yeah these symptoms are debilitating to say the least. I have suffered so long with this that I am just thinking that I will never know what's causing it. I do have hearing loss in both ears. What medication do you take ?
Hello Dana....... I am sorry that you dealt with that for years. It can be overwhelming at times especially when it is everyday. Did your primary doctor give you the clonodine or was it a psychiatrist ?
