I have a boii at the anus and consult a doctor and he said is a pile though not painful, pls help
Online research - not always the best - says that piles are hemmorhoids so you would think that hemmorhoid treatment would help it. I have a friends who swears that Witch Hazel (without alcohol) just patted onto the area help shrink her hemmorhoids. I used to use Anusol -- but it seems it'sno longer avaibale in the US which emans there's only Preparation H. I always find that using all creams or oils work better after you've had a shower or bath as the pores are 'open'. Yoou do have to dry the area very gently first. Sitz baths definately help with soothing the area for many people on here. Hopefully you will read more info from other people on this site, I have changed my diet to make sure I am not eating anything that can cause constipation because that makes me strain and starts the cause of the hemmorhoids.
Anusol is available on ebay just checked right now. How effective it was for you? I just ordered some witch hazel without alcohol because a lot of people do swear by it.
Im looking to reduce/eliminate the swelling not just treat the itch/burning cuz frankly I dont have neither of the two but the vein is still there swolen.
funny - i was on ebay just a little whioe ago as well. It looks like Anusol s avaiable in UK, Canada and Australia but not over the counter here. I preferred it to Prep H - found it more effective - just haven't seen it for a while. so may also order it online so I'm prepared for next time. The prescription stuff my Dr gives me seems to be the same as Anusol.
