Ioana,

It sounds like anxiety symptopms. Don't let the symptoms scare you (I know that's easier said than done). I have dealt with health anxiety for a long while and used to get scared by the symptoms (I even went to the ER on a few occasions thinking I was having a heart attack). Try some deep breathing exercises and counseling can be a great help too!!

I have a Chronic Disability that mimics MS, you do not want to go there, reading about that on Google will do your head in and you will do your head in. Google does not do anyone with Anxiety any favours, you will imagine all sorts that are nonexistant and you will become very unhappy as will your GP.

You say you get a numb arm and you suffer palpitations when watching TV.

May I ask what you were watching, your neurosis could be affecting you. Something that  is on the box may be giving you a rise ??

You say you suffer twitches, sometimes people get these when in bed or if they are dropping off to sleep in the chair.

If you have not approached your GP, regards these Anxiety Markers make an appointment and see what is said.

Rib pain can be caused by many things, your GP should put your mind at rest although I can imagine you have possibly discussed all before.

Discuss a treatment Plan with your GP and give it time to work, I do not know how old you are so it can be difficult when we are not medical professionals, you need to inform yourself BY YOUR GP and work out the best way forward

Good Luck

Hello Ioana! I have Social Anxiety and I too get the muscle spasms and twitches randomly, but most of the time they are present when I'm very stressed out or having a panic attack. I suggest you go see a therapist, don't let the anxiety take over you more than it already did. Don't be ashamed to seek help, mental issues are as important as any other. Also, I think we're from the same country, so if you need someone to talk to, feel free to leave me a PM.

I hope you'll feel better soon!
