Eye floaters

has anyone ever developed really bad eye floaters?? is this dangerous? ive had so many appear in my left eye in the last 3 months. :(

Hi, the only time i ever noticed floaters was when my anxiety was at its peak, i havent seen one in ages since ive been doing better. Anxiety makes you hyper aware of everything, if you worry about your vision you'll notice every minor detail, which is getting floaters. Dont worry about it, if you are, book an opticians appointment because the beautiful thing is if there is anything at all wrong with your eyes, they will be able to tell you. No big tests or hospital visits, just go to the opticians, this is for peace of mind of course, because your vision is perfectly fine you just have anxiety.

I have hundreds of floaters. Floaters are normal as people age and they are usually caused by people that are very near sighted.

:( i do have horrible vision. havent had an eye checkup since 2015 or 2016.. im only 24 and afraid of going blind or i have a tumor

they are normal. ive had them for over 30 years. eye doc said they are harmless .

So could that be why I've suddenly noticed an eye floater in my right eye that I hadn't noticed whatsoever up until somewhat recently? I've been freaking out about potentially having a retinal tear or detachment. It's only one floater as far as I can tell but I had never noticed it up until a couple weeks or so ago. I don't seem to have any in the other eye though which kind of worries me. (also, I'm only 16, so it couldn't possibly be aging related)
