i went for my eye exam and my pressure for eyes was 23 and 26. she said ti go back so she can do further tests. does this mean i have glaucoma?
Well, possibly you have the start of glaucoma. If you are seeing an optician you need to be referred to an ophthalmologist for regular monitoring and treatment. Glaucoma does not automatically mean you will go blind. There are so many treatments available now. I have had glaucoma for 20 years and its well controlled with once a day eye drops. However, dont ignore the warnings.
thanks for reply. i have to go back to optician when she dilates pupils . there was no mention as of yet of me being referred to anyone
