Been looking at previous posts that discuss having the same symptoms. Not any solutions though. My left eye went blurry about a week ago. Went to optician who couldn’t see anything obviously wrong. Am going back tomorrow to have pupil dilated so he can have another look. Eye hasn’t improved but got no worse. If I look at a straight edge (window frame) with right eye it’s purfectly straight but with the left is distorted and all of the sight from this eye is blurred. Has anyone come up with an answer on here?

Do you have an Astigmatism in that eye? I have astigmastism in both eyes but my left eye it’s very minimal, not even enough to really make a script for but my right eye is around -0.75 for astigmatism correction. I am in the process of trying contracts now and can tell a difference between a regular contact and a toric lense to correct the astigmatism. Things are clear with the toric lense but blurry with a regular lense. Could it be you have an astigmastism and possibly are just noticing it now? I only got glasses a month ago for this issue but probably one I have had all along but my eyes just compensated for it but as I age (I’m 37) my ability to compensate lessens. Not sure if this is helpful?
No, it’s a definite lump unfortunately. Have an appointment with an eye specialist on Friday. Quite likely cancerous as I’ve had breast cancer before. Will post anything I find out. It may help someone else.

Have been to specialist. He thinks lump is a secondary tumour from breast cancer 10 years ago. Will need to go through mri scans to rule out possibility of there being another tumour elsewhere. All being well has suggested radiotherapy on my eye. Will kep you posted.

Thanks Sara. Obviously pretty gutted. Hopefully scans and treatment will start ASAP so I can get on with my life. Will try and post updates on here. May help someone else along the way.
