I was supposed to start bio identical HRT a few months ago, but chickened out. Today is day 16, the day I'm supposed to begin the twelve day treatment. I will keep you all posted. Hope this helps get my old self back!!

today i saw a menopause Dr who has been helping women for fifty years. Her clinic only uses Bio Identical hormones, i decided to see them, Dr looked at last years blood tests and saw my DHEA levels were way down, combined with a recent hormone test she said im not making any hormones! DHEA is the mother hormone made by adrenal gland. Ive been so anxious, feeling quite ill, tremors with sweats, just awful so im really hoping her treatment will help me. Why were you afraid to use bio identicals? Seems to me better that the HRt pill, we all need a different mix of hormones! Compounded Bio idents made especially for your needs makes sense! Hi Carol, I knew it was progesterone at first but prometrijm was in smaller print on the bottle and didnt know anything there were synthettics and bioidenticals when first prescribed, and read the reviews recently.

hi colleen i am so interested in your post re bio identical HRT. i have been on this site before you may remember me , going through meno and suffering like yourself and so many and not getting anywhere. I am intrigued as had never heard of bio identical, this seems the path to take and SO makes sense - can you therefore pls keep in touch with me as to how you get on. I dont seem to be getting anywhere at the moment with my GP all they want to do is palm you off with quick fix tablet mentality of all suits all people etc. any info i wld be so so grateful and how to go about even geting this medication, its a minefield and GPs dont seem to bother to even give you proper blood results of whats what im stuck? all the best with your treament. regards debi

I replied to you earlier but my post was deleted my moderator, i too have decided to try Bio indents. I would be very interested in hearing from other ladies who are using this treatment! I do think that this type of treatment could be the answer we all search for as its made especially for us according to our hormones or lack of them! Im really hoping i get some relief asap. Drs have told me its anxiety making me feel so ill, but along with other symptoms im sure menopause is involved. As you know we all have to make informed decisions about what we put in our bodies, sometimes we get it wrong but we keep trying hoping this will fix our tired and stressed out bods! Oh and minds! BHRT may be the way to go and well worth looking into. I will keep on posting with my experience seeing the menopause specialist, i may post test results too for info if it can help anyone, im happy to share! Keep positive!🌷
