First day on sertraline and my pupils are huge

Is this normal? It's my first day on sertraline 50 mg and within a few hours of taking one my pupils are huge! And there not going down either does any one know if this is meant to happen?  If so how much longer will they stay like that??

Hi Rachel,

I've been taking sertraline for years and can't remember the side effects that well as I had so many ! and everyone is different, to be honest Side effects can vary and enlarged pupils I would say it's normal.

I hope they work for you soon and you start to feel better xxxx

Its a normal side effect to the antidepressants.. Benzos(ativan) make  mine small.. Try not to over think it makes your anxiety worse hun.. Hope this helps xxx
