Ive been in an active first hsv outbreak for nearly 2 weeks now, on medication for 2 days. I cannot clean in between my vaginal folds as it hurts too bad. I’ve been doing baths with warm water and salt. Is this enough to keep it clean? I’ve tried separting the folds but the sting is too intense that it makes me want to throw up. And how long until I see Improvement . The swelling is subsiding a lot which is good. Also how do I tell my most recent sexual partner that he should get tested. I suspect it’s from him as he’s the only one I’ve had unprotected sex with before thank you!

Hi get anything with lidocane atleast 4-5%. It will temporarily numb the sores and stop the itchiness and you well heal faster. Good luck.
