First Outbreak, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

I need help with 3 questions, please help if you know the answer!

  1. i had my first out break after having sex with my bf of 8 years, but we had broken up for 9 months. he gets cold sores, but i was worried it was type 2 bc i had never gotten it before. i got swabbed and my results are not back yet. he did blood test igg and igm and his results are both NEGATIVE for type 1 & 2! im so confused. how can he be negative for type 1 if he gets cold sores?

  2. my sores have all healed but i am so itchy and tingly down there! sometimes i get these shooting nerve pains, and other times it feels like little ants all over my vagina. im scared if i scratch i will cause another outbreak.

  3. tips on having sex post outbreak? we tried yesterday, and it was so painful. my sores are all healed over and completley gone. im brand new down there lol. we used lube and went slow but i was still in pain.

Dont have sex while having an outbreak. Just take medicine til it heals

hey, ive heard that the test results aren’t always 100% accurate and if he’s having cold sores then he obviously does have hsv1. i had horrific itching after my first breakout, it took about a week to go away, and as for sex, wait until you are completely clear of sores and itching and use plenty of lubricant as rough sex/friction could irritate the area and trigger another outbreak. my sex life is normal and i have it so dont worry x

thanks! im definitley clear of all sores. not a trace, like nothing even happened and i had over 50 it was so bad. im leaning towards it being hsv1, bc of his cold sores, but its throwing me off that his result from that is negative. hoping this itching goes away because im dying
