it's kinda sad that many of the people that were posting on here have gone but hopefully it means they are getting better and have more important things to do!!
Hi David I kinda get lost when I try keep up with my posts maybe other's do too I need to sort out my notifications because I have them set wrong and get hundreds to wade through to find my chats on here lol .Hope your doing ok im not long out of hospital following a knee replacement so just trying to catch up how are you doing? TINA X
Hey David,
I always recieve emails from patient.info regarding new posts, and I always read your discussions; I just prefer to hide in the shadows lol. Might start regularly posting on here like you do, sort of like a virtual diary!
I've run out of my sleeping medication so I have a mild bout of insomnia, nothing too bad though!
Hope you're well
sometimes i guess being busy takes over, i hope your still doing ok on your upped dose David. And im sure people who havnt been on for a while will potter back, or, as you say, have recovered, and are enjoying/coping with life now. xx
I'm still here. Can't get rid of me that easily
I read all notifications I get, and reply to relevant ones, or people I've posted with. Yes I expect many are getting better, maybe returned to work.
K xx
hi Tina, wow, a new knee sounds wonderful! because I know they would'nt replace it unless the old one was beyond help, give you a new lease of life hopefully I love wading through the chats on here, keeps my mind occupied on these cold winter days, stops me self pitying too by getting interested in other peoples trials and tribulations. so you will be out playing football before much longer haha, nice to hear from you, thankyou for replying
Hey Anna!!
thankyou for your reply, so twas you hiding in the shadows can't fault you for that, I'm finding myself hiding away from the real world these days, takes a monumental effort to even get out of bed these past couple mornings, just so lethargic I want to close my eyes and sleep, no sleep meds required here- but bizzarely enough I used to take half a Zopiclone every night until I ended up in hospital April last year, since leaving hospital I have slept like a baby most nights without a tablet! hope you are well
hiya Karen,
yes I guess that as people recover they just get on with their lives, which is great, I'm envious because every time I think things are improving, I promptly fall over and start again. the joys x
hello Kate!
nice to hear from you, hope you are doing well. I'm the same read all notifications sent to me, I enjoy the company, so to speak. I'm having a very lethargic day so one fingered typeing is my limit haha, lazy sod or what...... xx
Yes it's good to keep in touch, see how people are doing etc. Good for company too and great to see we're not all alone with this illness :-)
Hi David lol I may never play footy again but to walk without pain so easily at two weeks post op is wonderful had my staples out today all 27 of them can't believe things are going so smoothly for me because like you things always seem to take a step back .But that's how we tend to go isnt it up down up down im thinking I need to up my fluoxetine now as kinda feeling like I did before I started on them and dont want to drop again to the level I wont go see my doc you kinda know when you need to act now before you get past caring again if you know how I mean .Hope everyones ok today nice to see many appear when a shout out is given njce to see everyone x

Hi Karen , Tina x
Hi again Katecogs can i ask you do you get notifications everytime someone posts in a group you are in please ? I tried to set mine so I only get answers to convos im following but keep getting loads everytime someone posts in a group im in cant seem to stop it anywhere so I always have loads to sift through tried settings as well any ideas
? TINA X
I get notifications from ones I'm following, and also get ones from new ones posted in the groups I follow. I ignore some if they're not relevant and just follow some. But yes, I do get lots of emails. I think if you ignore the ones you aren't interested in, you don't get notified again (I think) :-)
hi Tina, xx
iv had to switch the emails off, i get so many to sort each day, it started to take ages!! so if i miss a post, im sorry.x
Hello again David!!
Happy new year!
I am still reading up on posts which I receive, but am STILL having The odd ( rather frwequent actually) Bad days, and my shakiness stops me from typing or replying some times. I also do not respond to queries or posts that i have nothing useful to add to ( a few from pregnant ladies , etc, which I have NO experienc of!! . I am struggling a bit myself with the fluox, and dearly wish it would kick in fullySoon ( i'm on about day 90 now of 20 mg) and i am still suffering with terribl lethargy about almost everything!!! BUT....I am at least sleeping a LOT better, and not worrying TOO much about things....so at least thats a start!!. Best wishes and happy new year to you and who sail here!! TTFN
I have been on flu 20mg per day for 3 months now. I especial de the weight loss, loss of appetite, yearning, head aches, but after around 8 wks I started to feel the benefits, my moods felt more balanced, my anxiety was much calmer. At around 8wks I got to a stage where I didn't feel tired enough to go to bed, so going to bed between 2am -4am having 4 hrs sleep, so feeling tired during the dead with severe head aches. This past three weeks I have been concentrating on going to bed around 11pm but switching the light off still between 1.30am - 2.30am. I did decide before this to take my tablets at 6pm in stead of 9am as being tired most of the day taking them in the morning, it seemed logical I would be tired hours after taking them at 6pm. I am sleeping really well now 7hrs, but I am so exhausted all day, I have no motivation & struggle to get out of bed before 10am & don't get dressed until lunchtime or even 2pm. I cannot be bothered to do anything but sit on my iPad, which is just not me. My eye sight is affected too. I did manage to help my daughter move house yesterday but I really had to push myself. So it seems after 12 wks of taking flu although my mood has improved, everything else is suffering. I just exhausted & make myself get dressed with the hope of actually doing something during my day.
That should have said, I experienced weight loss! Didn't check my predictive text, sorry.
