Boobs checked by Doctor and he thinks its hormones, age 49 anyone else had this weird sensation!

i had a stabbing pain before that they said was hormonal i am age 50  ... like a red hot pin being stuck in only lasts afew seconds but abit weird      ... 😩 Jay xx

No but the nipple area sometimes gets so sensitive its hard to get comfortable...

Oh yes sometimes really sore nipples,more on one side than the other...

Same here ! Lol my right side is alway more sensitive...thought that was just me haha

Yes yes Jay exactly the same, like a mini electric shock,or poker as you mention, worse at night time...had it daily on and off for 6 weeks, nipples ok at the moment.

my right one is always the painful one but i did have a mastopexy up lift a few years ago and it could be scar tissue twitching 😦

Oh yup Astrid fluttering like a butterfly.  Thought I was going into cardiac arrest lol. I thought if it's my time to go then let's go.  Very scary but doesn't happen very often thank God! I know it's menopausal cause I recently had a cardio gram.

Lol Dottie....mine was on and off but been constant the past 2 days, I have blood work coming back next week, tested for just about everything possible, so we will see.

Really need to know where i am peri wise or even menopuase, because I have had no period for 3 years due to birth control, who knows what stage I am at!

Yes me too like tickly electric shocks shooting down my boob ( only on one side). I went to the docs and she said she felt a lump ( freaked me out) but all is well. Xx

Must have done. I tried not to obsess about it as I have a swollen lymph node only neck on the same side that's been like that for months so I didn't want to fuel my health anxiety by  constantly checking my boob. I know my doc found it and 3 weeks later it was gone xxx

OMG that is exactly what i have been having . left boob and the fluttering comes from deep in the breast. i tried listening to it with my stethoscope. i don't hear anything . stuff i've read says it is a type of anxiety . other say hormone. either way or both would understandable i'm 49 and had a full hysterectomy 4 years ago. and everyone is stressed right now
