Food and anxious, shaky, symptoms

Hi ALL,

I have been suffering for almost a year with these symptoms(shaky, heart race, panic, negative thinking, unable to concentrate, etc). I have also been observing myself when these kind of symptoms arises, so in my research I found yesterday morning that it is evident that 45 mins to 1 hour after I ate anything like a regular meal. So, today I did go to complete vegetable meal, my world, soul, heart, mind everything is in complete peace. I have actually visited physician n number of time but he says all is well with me. Please let me know if anyone did experience my situation and got back to normal or working on the solution.

After I read on websites it is something related to carbs, high blood glucose, but I do not yet actual reason. Will visit Dr for glucose checkup and see.

Any kind of response is much appreciated.

Thanks

This is interesting. My anxiety/heart symptoms are getting worse after eating lately - my heart often pounds, I get a strange trembling and tightness in my left abdomen, and sometimes breathlessness and heart pain. This is usually around 10 minutes after eating, although I do still get them randomly sometimes when talking or moving around throughout the day. I posted about this here before, and a few people suggested the idea of blood sugar changes as a possible cause. Sometimes it has been much worse when I have eaten things like pizza, bread or pasta, or when I have a very empty stomach.

i have seen a doctor about my heart as that has been my main concern for a while now. Although there was nothing found, I did have to wear a 24hour blood pressure monitor because my bp was high. I noticed that every time after eating, my bp reading would shoot up drastically. I think I will speak to my doctor about this and see what they think. Please update if you get any answers about your symptoms. All the best

Thanks for the reply, I know what you are saying. I also experience motion 3-4 times after I eat heavy carbs. Heart racing much controlled by doing meditations and reading books.

I do believe that could be part of anxiety.  I suffer with GAD, anxiety.  When I get hypoglycemic from eating a small meal early in the day.  I will start to get shaky, and the sweats.  Then I eat something I start to feel better.
