History:
Early last year i was diagnosed with diabetes. Not longer after this i noticed my foreskin had a small split, with some cream it healed up reasonably quickly but came back only a few weeks later. It was getting progressively worse until I was put on Ozempic for my diabetes. This got my sugar levels under control and penis was back to normal.
Unfortunately its no longer possible to get my hands on Ozempic and sugar levels are again high. This has caused the splitting of the foreskin and a lot of pain.
I clean the area most mornings and at night but to no avail.
The timeline is foreskin cracks, takes a couple weeks to heal and then a few days later cracks again. Today was a bad one and I need to do something about it.
Treatment so far:
My Drs treatment (Advantan 0.1%) does not appear to be helping and the alternative medication he prescribed for my diabetes is also not helping (Nesina Met 12.5mg/500mg). It's been difficult to find another Dr in my area and hoping someone has had the same condition and what treatment they used. I'm at the point of requesting a circumcision.
