Last night I was very stressed and forgot to take my Clonazepam. I've been on it for 8 months (0.5 mg every night) and it is very helpful. Today I've been extremely depressed and having sad thoughts but trying to get them to go away. I also have been having chest pain when swallowing and dissociating more than normal. I went to take my pills tonight only to realize I hadn't taken them the night before. I just took it now. How long will it take to take effect and are these side effects of withdrawal? Thanks so much I'm so stressed.
Stress can cause us to over think and makes the mind and body have to work harder...try something relaxing and focus on that
Clonazepam has an extremely long high life so you shouldn't feel the effects of a missed dose for a couple of days. Of course, everyone is different. Try not to overthink too much and keep up with your regular dose.
