I have these red patches of like flaky red dry skin and some are just completely flat red patches they go away for a while and then they’ll flare up randomly and i’m so scared any ideas of what this could be?
Could be psoriasis, excema if they itch , or just dry skin. Use lots of moisturizer for dry skin with no chemicals addeded or dyes or perfumes. I use Coconut oil and shae butter and stay away from soaps with chemicals that dry out skin and irritate dry skin. Sodium laurel sulfate or SLS is a additive in most commercial soaps. It’s a commercial,chemical used in toothpaste makes the soap foam. Try oatmeal , natural based soaps or glycerine soap. Then use coconut oil or other oils on wash towel to dry off after shower to add moisture back to skin.
