Ive been on Gabapentin for about 3 months. The last two weeks my arms, stomach, and arms are covered in small like sores and itch unbearably. And i mean covered. I am wondering if the medication i am on could all the sudden be the cause. No lotion is helping. I have been taking zyrtec which helps some with the itching any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
I would stop taking it and call your doctor..This is a dangerous drug with many side effects.,
It's not advisable to just stop this medicine. You have to taper down. There is a chance it is causing the rash, however it could easily be something else! See your GP, but please don't just stop as someone else has advised. Sure, get off it, but going cold turkey is dangerous, as you will see from the packet notes & any drug forum on the web.
Get off them any rash these should be discontinued
