I had my gallbladder removed over 15 years ago. I remember a different life before the surgery. I gained weight and had no energy. I thought those 2 went hand. since then I’ve had 2 weightloss surgeries thinking my energy had more to do with my weight. my quality of life is getting worse
I am exhausted from the time I wake up till I go to bed. the only thing I want to do is lay down. not sleep..just not move if that makes sense. I’m starting to read more people experienced this after their gallbladder removal and I never put that together. I don’t even know where to start. my dr. has put me on depression meds but the more I read the more I think its my removal that starts this. anyone have any suggestions on getting the right diagnosis or vitamins to get life back?
Yeah, I’ve been exhausted since having mine out 10 months ago. I used to run 3-5 miles a day. I can’t anymore. Even walking during the day makes me tired. I’m definitely gaining weight and I’ve always had a normal BMI. I feel awful. There is definitely a connection with getting your gallbladder removed. I feel way worse after having mine removed. I used to feel like I was in my 20’s even though I was actually 36. Now I feel like I’m way older than my age. Doctors should have to tell people the real outcome of gallbladder removal.
