Bexiga biliar com lodo/HIDA mostra 95% de ejeção como "normal"

My story began last May. I suddenly began to experience feeling of bloating, excessive gas and constant urges to go. My stool also looked very strange, mostly loose or going back to constipated, rectal spasms.Slight upper-right-side discomfort like a pulled muscle. I went to see a doctor and they assumed it was IBS. My gasto did blood work, tested for IBDs and Celiac, did stool studies for parasites calprotectin and tested my thyroid as well. Everything came back negative but one thing: fat absorption and slightly elevated alkaline phosphate! Gastro thought that fat mal-absorption could be my pancreas so we checked my pancreas function by doing fecal elastise and it came back normal. He never thought to check my gallbladder! The doctor still had no answers and just told me to go home. I’ve been miserable for months with the same symptoms , managing my diet by eating low-fat, plenty of fruits and veggies and natural supplements but it did not take care of my issues. I went back to my doctor again last month and basically had to force him to get an ultrasound. At this point I’ve been also having upper-right-side discomfort after eating meat or heavy meals or when doing physical activities, also, my strange loose/mis-shappen/and/or constipated stools kept continuing. The ultrasound revealed a slight shadow in the neck of the gallbladder and also a small liver lesion. My doctor got freaked out at this point and sent me for an MRI. MRI revealed that the liver was fine and so was the pancreas, however, gallbladder had sludge! After that I did a HIDA scan. The scan showed “Normal” function with no issues and the output of 95% ejection rate. Now , I know that the results said “normal”, however, I did my research and 95% is a high ejection rate and I know that it indicates an overactive gallbladder “Hyperkenisia”. I’ve been having gallbladder pains and a few strong attacks in the meantime and it’s obvious that it’s not functioning right. I’m eating a low-fat high-fiber diet and taking Chanca Piedra as well as Dr. Christopher’s gallbladder and liver formula which helped stopping my pain, however, my stools are still loose and come in pieces and my lower stomach area hurts all the time as well as having frequent urges to go. Tomorrow I will be talking to my doctor and I don’t even know what to say to him because he is going to say once again “I’m still not sure what’s wrong with you” and we’ll be back to square one, which is very frustrating. Does anyone have a similar experience with gallbladder sludge and can a gallbladder sludge cause these issues? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there, yes sludge causes nausea and will cause gall attacks. What you described is on your MRI showed sludge at the neck means it sometimes get stuck in the neck of gall. This is why you are sick. You need it out. I had same symptoms and all have gone after surgery. Some people still are suffering even after removal. Everyone is different. Good Luck.

hi Layna,

I an sorry to read about what you are going through.

Personally, I would be less than impressed by your doctor! I think you should try to see another doctor and ask for a referral to a consultant specialist. If you do have to see the same GP and he tells you that he is still not sure what is wrong, then tell him to refer you to a specialist who will be able to! Do not be fobbed off because this will only get worse in time, and it is far better to to have surgery while it is an uncomplicated case.

I had my gallbladder removed 8 weeks ago and had stones and sludge. The sludge is what eventually forms stones. Sludge on its own can also cause issues. My experience of surgery and recovery has been very positive, I am so pleased that I had it done. I am now back to normal, pain free and healthy.

Best of luck and i do hope you get a referral.

Hi yes i had the same and had gall bladder out over a year ago now but still get the symptoms .

Hi there – I am very much in the same boat as you right now. I have been dealing with symptoms for over a year now, including two extremely big “attacks”, that brought me to the ER. Both times they claim to not see anything on my US or CT scan. Had a HIDA scan with a 65% ejection fraction, so, normal. I then had an MRCP with contrast and that finally found sludge. But even at finding that, the drs make it sound like it’s nothing and almost blow me off like I’m embellishing my symptoms or something. My GP referred me to a surgeon and due to a long family history of GD disease in the women in my family, along with my symtoms, the surgeon said he’d remove my GB but can’t guarantee that it’ll alleviate my symptoms since they didn’t find stones in there and my HIDA scan came back normal. I wound up at this forum trying to find others who’ve had bad symptoms with sludge but no stones. My symptoms are almost constant pain in my upper right abdomen. Sometimes it’s dull for days, sometimes it’ll almost be gone, and then I’ll have an attack. I used to be able to sort of clock my symptoms by the foods i ate (fattening foods would cause the pain) but I’ve now reached a point where pain will set in even after a healthy, whole-foods meal. I also get extreme pain, an almost burning feeling right under my sternum at times, with really right pressure and pretty strong bloating when thag happens. And my RUQ pain tends to wrap around my right ribcage like a belt. I will sometimes even wake up in the morning in pain, without having ate for hours. I’m tired or being constantly worried about this. I’m tired of worrying about another attack or “flare up”. It’s hard to make the decision to have my GB taken out when the surgeon doesnt know for sure if it’ll even help. I have now had two contrast CT scans, US, HIDA scan, contrast MRCP, and three rounds of bloodwork. The fact that they’ve only found sludge leads me to believe that this is all due to that. I’m sort of at a loss and could really use some insight from others who’ve been somewhat in this position. Do you still have your GB? How are you doing today? I sincerely hope you are feeling better.

a gallbladder and liver formula which helped stopping my pain

Would you mind sharing what liver and gallbladder formula you took? I am dealing with the same symptoms. My gastroenterologists don’t even acknowledge that the HIDA scan is a thing. They called the procedure outdated and rarely used (at least in my city). I can’t have ERCP due to other health issues. I don’t know what to do but to seek a very skilled surgeon and hope for the best.

Hi,

I replied to you via private message because the forum does not allow any reference links, etc.

Layna

I sent you a private message because the forum does not allow to post any reference links or name specific products.

i would also like to know what helped you thanks!

I sent you a private message with detailed description on how I healed my gallbladder.

please may i have the details too?

Eu prometo!
