Gallenblase/Magenprobleme oder Gürtelrose?

Hi Everyone

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience as me and has any advice.

I woke up in the middle of the night 3 weeks ago with what I thought was either a ‘spider bite’ or a ‘dead arm’ on my left side’? My fingers were tingling on my left hand and I must of managed to eventually get back to sleep.
When I woke in the morning my left arm was very sore and I couldn’t lift my left arm up properly.. Long story short I had a large sore appear on my back/ left side which was tracking a red swelling around leading to under my armpit & left breast.
My glands were swollen under my armpit and this sore leaked a lot of fluid out of it sticking to my clothing. Saw GP they said Shingles put me on penicillin. I never had a rash at all just a weeping pus filled sore on my left side which made me question if its shingles or something else connected to my stomach gallbladder back problems etc??
I have been ill for quite a while with abdominal problems, extreme fatigue, nausea and what is like palpitations or a butterfly sensation in my stomach, especially at night time.
I have terrible mid to upper back pain on a daily basis and I’m not sleeping too well it feels like there is a growth in there sometimes? and something is uncomfortable sometimes when I lay on my right side in bed?
Does this sound like shingles to those who have had it?? Or more to do with my gallbladder/stomach problem? Has anyone else had similar issues? would be very grateful for any help/advice.

Thank you & Best wishes to you all x

To me it does not sound like a typical gallbladder attack, but the best thing you can do is ask to be referred for an ultrasound scan to check your gallbladder. Most gallbladder attack pains start in the upper right abdomen and extend into the back. Many people describe it as a tightening or gripping like pain. Whilst this could be just shingles related, it is best not to just assume it is, but to also get checked out to rule out other underlying conditions.
