They weren’t convinced clinically, thinking the picture looked more like Folliculitis but due to my high anxiety levels they gave me Aciclovir. I should say the first swab they took was negative but for completion theyve taken another
However today I have noticed a painful spot on my chin which is painful. Would it be possible I could have developed a cold sore as well, despite being on day 4 of Aciclovir! I have had some soreness and burning pain around my lips, and some dry skin and discomfort in the corners of my eyes. The spot popped with thick pus originally but then was more clear.
