Genitourinary Prolapse

My Mother in Law is 83. For the last 18 months she has suffered from delerium due to a severe UTI. She has another infection which has been treated with antibiotics. She also has had a prolapsed uterus which was treated with a pessary, left in for 6 years, it was removed 6 months ago. The prolapse is now bulging out and she is, understandably, in discomfort. Her GP is now refusing to do anything about the prolapse including not examining her. The delerium has taken hold again which shows the infection is still there. The GP is also refusing more antibiotics. If any health professionals can offer advice. My wife and I would love to hear from you.
