GERD OR COSTOCHONDRITIS

Hi everyone its been five months since i had this severe pain in my left back shoulder blade and chest, feels like being stab and hurts so bad when i stretch my upper body and when i stand for a long time, numbness in my left arm. Does anyone here experince the same? What is your diagnosis? What did you do to ease tge pain?

I doubt that this has anything to do with GERD or even LPR. The best thing to do is to visit your GP, medical doctor and ask him what could that be.

Are you experiencing any heartburn, stomach pain, nausea? If not, then again, it could hardly be GERD or any other upper-abdominal stomach-esophagus related condition...

It sounds to me like COSTOCHONDRITIS or a pinched nerve but you can't be certain.  Yes, visit your GP for more details.  For now, take it easy, eat anti-inflammatory foods or ask your GP for medication (Which I do not recommend) until you get the results.  Maybe some ice on that area for 3 days and then warm for a few more days.  Hope is nothing serious. God bless!

I've also experience stomach bloating and backing up of sour taste in my esophagus.

I already visited a doctor and she said I have a GERD. She gave some meds. But its still the same.

Im confuse because my back really hurts that radiates to my chest.
