Wikipedia has a good article on Graves disease, an auto-immune disorder which causes overactive thyroid function. The symptoms you’re having seem to be typical of Graves which can cause anxiety and tachicardia.

Clonezepam is a tranquilizer but does not turn down the over-active thyroid. It’s normally used to reduce anxiety until anti-thyroid medications such as methimazole start to work to reduce excess thyroid hormone production. If you’re not already on an anti-thyroid med, would be good to discuss with your doctor.
