Hi - I am a 27 yo female. I started noticing gum irritation between my front teeth about 3 months ago and it’s gotten a lot worse. It oddly looks like a nerve/straight line with a bump right between my teeth. So painful! My gums also hurt on the back side of my front teeth. A periodontist originally diagnosed me with oral lichen planus but wasn’t sure. I tried an anti-inflammatory oral gel with no real success. X-ray showed nothing unusual. I also have been waking up with bad breath/dry mouth. I got a blood panel and everything is normal besides my elevated DHEA levels. Thyroid antibodies are a bit high but we are monitoring. Any suggestions?
