I'm sure I'm not alone but it it sure does feel like it. For years now I have been dealing with constant bloating and farther sounding gurgling in between every meal. I don't eat much but honestly it's mostly because of my fear of the annoying noises. My stomach has shrunk though I'm pretty sure due to my small diet. It does make sense that the food gets digested at a slow rate hence why it takes a long time for me to have bowel movement. But when I do try, most of the time nothing happens. It's an endless cycle and I don't know what's going on. Haven't had tests (don't have health insurance) but I don't even know if it's serious enough to go that far. Any similar experience or information?
If you eat more ddoes it ease?
I would go to your doctor to see if he/she recognises your symptoms. You may need an ultrasound, colonoscopy, stool, celiac and food intolerance tests. Do you get stomach pain and nausea with your other symptoms?
I have IBS and get stomach pain, constipation and sometimes nausea and loose stools. Ask your doctor about IBS.
astrozombie, I haven't necccessarily eaten more due to my stomach being as small as it is. It can only take so much.
philippa61759, IBS was definitely one of the conditions I thought I had, I looked up the symptoms but not quite sure if that's it. I recently got sick randomly but that was the only time in over a year. It's mostly just bloationg, gas, and weird noises from my intestines that sounds like a fart but isn't. It just builds up and causes me to feel uncomfortable most of the time. If the bloating would stop, it would be a whole lot better.
I was just wondering if you ate a little more it may stop as you may not be eating enough. I know I do not get anywhere near my 2000 calories.
Sickness can be a part of IBS as I get both symptoms simultaneously though not every time.
