My hands have change over night. I have POLYMYOSITIS. I have been on Prednisone 5mg for over 20 yrs. My hands have a weird feeling in my finger tips. They feel very smooth but they look like have been in the water too long. Around my nails are getting very hard. The skin is like stone almost all around nails now. I use lotion every day I also get a manicure every 2 wks Even the woman who has been doing my nails for yrs said not hangnails just hard skin. I have thin skin from prednisone on my hands and arms but I have this wrinkle look to the fingers which is new Anyone else???
