Hi, It has been 4 months since my UFE, and I’m so grateful I did it, because fibroids were killing me… I had severe amemia and needed iron infusions, I was bloated, in pain, weak… anyway, I went through UFE, they were very straight forward, they explained the process and told me the first day would be very painful… so, the first 3 days were bad: much pain, mood swings, sadness, nausea, and vomited a Lot, BUT I figured it was the pain medication (oxicodone and a patch behind my ear so I stopped using that) Instead, I used ibuprofen 800 for the pain the first days and it worked Great!. I was back to work after a week (its usually less but I’m just not as the other women lol it took me a week). Now My periods are light, no more anemia, no bloating like before and I kept my ovaries (hope they are ok, they should be).. I have my ultrasound in 2 months and we will see how much they have shrinked. Hope this info helps, Because fibroids are NO fun. My Dr was Dr. Saha at My Aim in AZ and for the infusions I went to Dr. Chen city of hope my insurance covered everything i only paid the copay. Many blessings :pink_heart:
