I have two episodes where my left hand went numb, my vision was distorted and I had an extreme headache. I have had two CT scans which found nothing. They (the doctors) tell me these are anixety issues not TIA's.
However I also experience some strange head symptoms including an:
-on/off pain above the right ear like pressure in a band
- random cramping and tingling
- a crawling feeling on the head which does not last long, very quick
- clicks in my head when I move my neck around
My doctors say this is all anxiety. I find it hard to accept.
Does antyone have any other answers or remedies?
Appreciated
Wht not try a short spell on a medication for anxiety to se if it helps. Otherwise you will never know if it is the cause of your symptoms.
I am on Aurorix for anxiety (panic attacks mainly) but it doesnt help at all.
I read on these forums that others experience the same thing but no cause??
Yes, it seems to be a very common situation with anything neurological.
I'm told that most are 'general neurologists' rather than specialists in any one area.
Vince must talk! I have more questions for you but first let me say that if I were to describe what's been going on with me it would read identically to what you posted! Second, do you currently have anyone in the family with diseases? No matter how small. For instance a far off third cousin with DIABETES or blood disorders or someone who had Multiple Sclerosis? Just grinding and or chronic pain of the neck spine and bones, Etc....? Anything and everything list it. Say the relative like
Granda/Moms mother then what they have.
Especially your Mother Dad and his immediate relatives.
