Hi everyone.
I get alot of headaches, but recently this last week or so i've had them alot. I get the headache and lightheadedness/diziness etc and i have been really exhausted, having no strength.
These last few days the heat has been between 28-33 degrees and i work a physical job mostly outside so i've been drinking plenty of water but i still seem to get these headaches and stuff. And if it is down to the heat it doesnt seem to affect anyone else at work as much as it does me.
I have a history of anxiety/panic attacks etc and always concentrate on how my body feels almost without even knowing it.
Its so annoying because i get home from work and i cant even talk to my family/girlfriend properly which is annoying but its just because im so lightheaded and tired, but i dont want to be like that.
I had a day off work yesterday as the night before I was having headaches/nausea and only got about half hour sleep before i had to get up for work. Ive just started attempting to quit smoking too which may not be helping.
I dont know whether or not im just overthinking, and headaches are normal in this weather in my circumstance or if somethings wrong or anything im just so confused.
Does anyone have any input on this because any peace of mind will be very appreciated. Thanks for reading.
Hi JayDee,
I find that the hot weather makes my anxiety worse and it gives me headaches. I sometimes get migraines too with the heat.
It must be difficult working outdoors in the sun, drinking plenty of fluids is good. It's just a thought but it may be worth getting your blood pressure checked.
Hope the weather gets cooler for you.
Best wishes
you in the uk bro?
it has been really hot. it effects people more than others. i get really anxious when its hot to and i just constantly pi#s with sweat all day and its worse at night.
Yeah mate im in the UK. Its ridiculously hot over here at the moment. Its well annoying cos there ain't no escape from it either thats the worst part
Well i check my bp at home once every 3 weeks or so. Its usually always perfect other than the last time where it just ticked over perfect into pre-high blood pressure. I didnt think much of it though and I havent checked it again since.
And honestly, it is murder working out in this weather. Im a mechanic for plant machinery so its constant heavy lifting, exhausting work too. Pain in the bum to say the least hahah.
Hi Jay Dee
It's probably the heat then. I do sympathize with you working outdoors in all weathers. My daughter does too, she works on building sites as an engineer and she gets hayfever.
It's so hot in the UK at the moment, it makes my anxiety worse. I have recently taken early retirement so luckily I don't have to work in my stuffy office any more. I can pace myself throughout the day and sit under a fan to cool down. I must be one of the very few waiting for autumn to come lol.
Take care
I again,
Just a thought but have you tried drinking lime juice, it is supposed to reduce body temperature. You can also buy hot weather skin cooling sprays from any chemist. I must tell my daughter.
☺
yeah pal i know. i live in sun trap and i just been sweating my balls off for days.
hows your headaches today bud?
They're better believe it or not, still there, but its mainly just lightheadedness and like jus' weird feelings. Oooh well 😑 I dont mind hotter weather, but not 25+ 😂
Both good suggestions, I should give em both a go 😁 can imagine lime juice being quite bitter though hahah
