Hi,
I have a small (~20%) central perforation of the eardrum caused by trauma.
At the moment I have no pain, no discharge, and no signs of infection.
I’m currently in the healing phase.
I have a ski trip planned in about two weeks and I’m trying to understand
the potential risks of skiing with a healing perforated eardrum.
Specifically, I’m interested in whether altitude changes, pressure differences,
or physical impact could negatively affect healing or hearing in this situation.
I’m not looking for urgent advice, just informed opinions or personal experiences,
especially from ENT professionals or people who’ve been through something similar.
Thank you.
