Hey basically my health anxiety has been triggered again. Basically I Google symptoms and tend to think there's something wrong with me. I've saw 3 doctors and have had blood and urine tests done which came back fine. I have pain in my lower stomach and don't really feel hungry. Its at the point where I dont believe what the doctors have told me. Like the stomoch pains are more noticable and flare up when i get anxious. Its like I feel like I have a different illness everyay. I've been referredfor therapy. Could anyone tell me if they've experienced the same as me. Thank you
Hi
First, do not Google your symptoms. It will backfire and you will have more symptoms.
chances are that nothing online will pertain to your individual situation even if it seems to.
I have had all your symptoms and more. All from anxiety and stress.
I had terrible stomach pains, cramping, etc in college from stress. Numbness, tingling,
eye floaters, weakness, short of breath, you name it!
I highly recommend you visit a counselor because anxiety is often difficult to manage alone. They see this every day and can help you.
Listen to audio meditations on YouTube for anxiety or sleep or depression whatever you want. They totally calm down my mind and body and symptoms. Teach you how to separate negative thinking from yourself. You need to calm down your mind to calm down the symptoms. Because all anxiety begins in the brain.
Any symptoms related to anxiety cannot hurt you. I am living proof of that because mine started in my 20s and I am now in my 50s. I'm still here! LOL
negative thinking leads to fear which leads to anxiety and symptoms.
The counselor can help you turn that around.
when you get A scary or negative thought or a symptom don't react with anxiety because that will trigger more fear and anxiety and more symptoms.
you have to have the mindframe of "no big deal. It can't hurt me. "
you will be fine. Get some counseling, listen to the meditations, be good to yourself, stay active and socialize. The worst thing you can do is sit around and think about this because everything will be aggravated. Don't let fear take you over.

Thank you. Basically this happened last year and it was so bad to the point in which I thought I was going to die. It got better for like 7 months. Like no googling, I was happy etc. It returned 3 months ago when my grandad passed away.
Hi, a couple of months ago I had terrible stomach cramps I thought my anxiety had given me IBS, went to GP who said it was my anxiety that was causing it and prescribed peppermint tablets, went after a couple of days. Anxiety really hits my stomach. Neil
Oh okay thank you
Which part if the stomach were you getting the pains? Because for me it goes from above my belly button to bellow it
Same, sometimes it's above my belly button it then moves below it. I've had blood tests and urine tests done which were all fine I'm just worried I have a stomach ulcer or gallstones
