cut a long story short. had an ambulance out as i was suffering heart palpatations everytime i breathed in. they said i had a chest infection and to go to doctors for antibiotics. my ecg picked up that i was having pvc which is heart palpatations. after that i went to doctors and got antibiotics all other obs were fine apart from ecg . i went home still suffering heart palpatations including my chest infection. i rang ambulance again as was worried. they done my obs everything was fine apart from my ecg again and said id have to take my ecg to doctors and see if i can get sorted at doctors as a&e cant do anything for me. went the doctors she listened into my chest and said was clear and that she was upping my dose of propananol from 8mg to another 40mg and gave me omeprazole and said i could have gastric relex. i feel abit better.she said she had to ask doctor about my ecg to see if anything ti worry about.she said im suffering high stress and anxiety. never ever suffered such bad palpatations and never had a bad ecg. im petrified. anyone else had this . all started from a chest infection. i feel like poo. anyone else suffered like me ???

mines terrible. i can be lay here and they come frequently. i dont normally have them then all the sudden i have had them all day everyday since. they feel horrible and just wish they will go away. have they picked them up on ecg before ? x
I’m not sure i have very bad anxiety and panic attacks and depression among other things that are not so good
- My friend had bad anxiety/panic brought on by an asthma attack. She was experiencing extra bad asthma last winter bc of how dry out it was, suddenly she started getting panic attacks and felt she couldn’t breathe. She went to the hospital at least 3 or 4 times over the course of the winter., but every time they went they said it was just her asthma/anxiety and she needed to calm down.
- Your story sounds very similar, in that you DO have something wrong (your chest infection, my friends asthma), but it sounds like it’s your anxiety that’s escalating it and making it worse. Anxiety alone causes heart palpitations so I can imagine how uncomfortable it is to a chest infection causing that AND then anxiety on top of it lol =( Hang in there
