Heavy Leg & Arm Twitching......🙄

Hiya Guys…

I’ve had a few leg twitching in the past, nothing too. bad. Last night though the wife says “I was going mad, with real heavy twitching”
I’ve got no recollection of this at all, I’m just over 6 weeks post THR, I’m on Amytripryline and Zopiclone which i take in the evenings, just wanted to ask if anyone had these “Heavy Twitching” don’t remember myself, and i get up feeling really tired, like I’ve had a real bad nights sleep..

Any help or advice most appreciated..

Hi it sounds more like spasms, are they painful at all, after my hip fracture I had them constantly, I was prescribed diazepam low dose, I still get them but only because the hip is not healed, I suggest you see how they go because it is early days yet and I think they will get gradually better when you can turn on your side to sleep.

Hiya

Not painful at all, as i don’t even feel them, and didn’t wake up, it was my wife that told me this morning, she said I was having these twitch things all night of and off…

Pete…

Pete, magnesium is needed for leg twitching and restless legs.

I had spasms in my legs, although one was a bit worse than the other. I had them before my hip op and they got quite bad after, but are now slowly improving.

you give me hope how long after did the spans start to improve? did you take anything for them? Dawron

It could just be your dreaming, my dog does it all the time LOL

 Just love it… gave me a bloody good laugh thanks…

Just get your wife to scratch behind your ears that works with my dog
Glad it caused a giggle, nothing better

sounds like restless legs, it could also be related to opiate pain killers. wean them down as soon as you are able
